The answer is yes, it is. It’s not easy and it’s something you’ll have to work on and thrive for every day. But with God all things are possible. About two years ago I decided I was sick of chasing happiness. I decided I wanted joy. The decision in my life has been one of the most impactful things in my life. It didn’t happen over night and I’m still not there 100 percent but the progress is undeniable. I find now that I can have joy and even happiness when things are going wrong. I don’t fall apart like I used to. What did I do to bring around this change? Honestly less than you’d think. I don’t give any credit to myself only to the God of all things. I prayed to Him and seeked Him like never before. I told Him I didn’t wanna live a life chasing happiness but a life of joy. I wanted to be joyful no matter what and follow him with everything in me even if I didn’t know how to even start about it. That’s where it begin. Sure, I’ve lived my years since a small child following him but there’s something about when you get so honest and real with God and tell him you want that change in your life only he can give and you’re willing to do whatever it takes. Just let me guide you and grow you into who he wants you to be. Honestly you just need to want him and seek him with all you got. If you do that I promise you you’ll find that joy. Things may not improve in your daily life but it’s you who will change and that makes all the difference. 🙂

During this special time of year I want to encourage you to show someone God’s love and spread joy. There’s so many ways you can do that. Donate to a organization that gives kids Christmas gifts that normally wouldn’t get any, bake cookies for a neighbor, have a Christmas party for your friends or give you parent something special they have had their eye on. There’s so much more you can do if you just look around. We can all make Christmas a special time for everyone this year. Let’s do it! Let’s go change the world! And don’t forget the reason for the season. God sent his beloved son into the world to save us. The greatest present ever received.
I want to be overflowing with thankfulness. That should be our goal. In a world full of people complaining we should be the ones to instead be thankful. It’s a powerful thing to do. People will notice and wonder what’s different about you when they see you being thankful instead of complaining. You can change the world in little ways like this. 🙂

If you ever have any doubts that you’ve sinned to much for forgiveness, gone to far, not good enough… ete then read this verse. Keep living your life for God and even when you mess up God already took care of it. Keep going and don’t get discouraged my friends!
“When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”

Not sure how to pray? Want to have a more powerful prayer life? Well I’ve found some of the most power prayers are prayers you can find in the Bible! People like Paul and others said some pretty incredible prayers that we can use to pray for others too. Here’s a few of my favorites to get you started. 🙂
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”

“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. That power is the same as the mighty strength”

As Thanksgiving is coming I want to encourage you to make sure the people in your life know how thankful you are for them. Cancel your plans for the day and spend time with a loved one. Don’t be too busy to let someone know you care. Give someone a hug and tell them you’re thankful for them. Text a friend and tell them you’re thankful for there friendship. Donate money to someone who can’t afford all the trimmings for Thanksgiving this year. No matter what you decide to do make someone feel appreciated. I appreciate you for reading this so much. If we have faith like a mustard seed we can move mountains. How profound is that? Faith that small can move mountains but faith even smaller than that must be powerful too. That’s incredible. With just a little faith we can do incredible things or rather, God can do incredible things through us. Imagine if we had faith larger than a mustard seed how our world and the world as a whole would change. That’s encouraging to me. Keep believing, keep growing in your faith. God’s promises are true and he’s gonna use you to move mountains!
I just wanted to encourage you with these verses today. No matter what is going on in your life we always have hope in the Lord. He will deliver us. Don’t forget that. Keep on living for him.
“But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.”

This weeks dare is to pray for someone you know who’s sick or dealing with something hard. This is something we should all already do but this is a friendly reminder about how important it is. If we knew how many prayers have changed the out come of so many things we’d be in awe. Prayer is powerful and praying for another person is one of the greatest things we can do for another person.

As I said before my deepest thoughts often come when I’m out in nature walking. A few weeks ago these words came to me, “The God of all eternity lives inside of me.” Just one small sentence and truth I’ve known since a small child but for some reason it hit me like a stack of bricks. How profound is that? The God of everything, all time and all knowledge lives inside of me. I’m in awe of His glory and his love for me more daily.
