Dare 7. Thoughtful letters

Hey lovely friends!!

So if you didn’t know I took a month break from this blog for the holidays but I’m back now and ready to keep encouraging people and to encourage people to encourage! I dearly hope you all had a blessed holiday season and spent time remembering the reason Christmas exists.

My dare for us this week is to show someone you are thinking of them and care about them and their life. Write someone a hand written letter or send them an email. Ask them what’s going on with them and let them know you care about them. Tell them about your life too. Make them feel included and a part of your life even if this friend lives 1000 miles away. Or you could write a family member you haven’t seen since you were a kid. I bet that would make their day.

That’s all for this week! See you next Monday and don’t forget you are so deeply and fully loved!!

Dare 6. Quality Time

Hey friends!

Today’s dare is another put words into action dare. When someone wants to spend a day with you or watch a movie with you that feels pretty special right? They could spend time with someone else or just spend some time alone but they choose to spend time with you.

Well today’s dare is spend time with someone. I always like to give examples of ways you could go about doing the dares so here’s a few. You could call a friend and see if they’d like to catch a movie or go to the park. You could ask your mom if she would like to watch her favorite movie with you, Take your sibling out to eat or go for a hike with some friends. As always the possibilities are endless.

Thanks for spending time with me every Monday reading my blog! See ya next Monday, lovelies. Go change the world.

Dare 5. Thankgivings

Happy week of Thanksgiving special friends!!

I bet you could guess this weeks dare has something to do with being thankful. Well you’re right! 😉 Today’s dare is to tell someone you are thankful for them. And don’t just stop at one person. Go ahead tell everyone you see this holiday that you are thankful for them. We are so blessed to have the people we have in our lives. They are there for a reason. Make sure they know they matter to you.

I’m keeping this one short and sweet today. I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving! I am truly thankful for you. Without you there’d be no point to this blog.

Now go change the world. See you next Monday.

Dare 4. Something noteworthy

Hi world changers.

You know how some people put up sticky notes with writing on them like “You’re beautiful!” Or write encouraging bible verses on their minors to make them smile every morning? Well today I dare you to make one for someone in your family (or friend if you can somehow get into their house and put it up without them knowing haha) and put it up somewhere where they will see it when they wake up. It can say whatever you’d like. I love you, you’re priceless, have a great day, a verse or anything you can think of. I am extra excited for this dare and I hope you will all enjoy doing it and the person who gets your note will smile real big. 🙂

Have a fun and safe week! See you next Monday. Now go change the world.

How it went. Month 1

Hello there incredible human!

Today I’m gonna do a quick review of the dares for last month and how they went. Because I started this blog just a few weeks ago this month I’ll only have my first two dares to review.

Dare 1 was to tell someone to have a good day. Instead of just telling one person I decided to tell a few. They all seemed to appreciate that I took the time to tell them that. And something I notice is when I make it a habit to tell someone to have a nice day a lot of times I’ll notice the people I’ve been saying it to will start telling me to have a good day before I even say it. This happens not only with saying have a good day but any kind thing I do or say to someone not always but sometimes I see that person doing random acts of kindness back to me and to others. It’s a wonderful thing to see that you’ve helped someone think about how much a simple kind word can change someone’s day and see them spreading love.

Dare 2 was tell someone you appreciate them. This I recorded myself saying and sent it to an internet friend and got a really sweet message back. It made me happy I made them happy. 🙂

How did the dares go for you? I’d love if you’d comment down below and tell me a bit of how one of them went!

Stay positive and remember you are cared about deeply. See you Monday!

Dare 3. Something helpful

Hey priceless, beautiful people!

Today’s dare isn’t something you say but rather something you do. Encouraging words are amazing and uplifting but putting words into actions is just as important.

So today I dare you to help someone. This could be anywhere from helping an old lady you see at a store to doing a chore at home no one asked you to do. There’s so many ways to help people. You could help your sibling with home work, pay for the person behind you lunch, help out your mom by cleaning the kitchen or make a nice dinner for your family. The possibilities are endless. Whatever you end up doing be sure you do it with the right heart. If you don’t want to help the person can always tell. Do it because you care about that person. Helping someone by doing work might not always be fun but seeing how much the person you helped appreciated the work will. Even if they don’t notice what you did God did and he’s proud of you.

“Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” – Matthew 6:4

Have a blessed week everyone.

One more quick note: I apologize the First Tuesday blog didn’t come out last week. I wasn’t feeling well so I decided to do it this Tuesday instead. So look out that for tomorrow. After that they will always be posted on the first Tuesday of every month. As always thanks for reading! Now go change the world.

Dare 2. Something meaningful

Happy Monday everyone! 🙂

Have you ever had someone tell you they appreciate you? And not only do they say they appreciate you but go on to say why they appreciate you. It really makes you feel important and like you matter doesn’t it? Well today my dare for us is to tell someone you appreciate them and then tell them why. For example you could say “You are always there for me when I need you and I appreciate that.” or say “I really appreciate when you spend time with me going shopping together and spending time with me.” So there is just some examples to get you started thinking of what you could say. Of course for everyone it probably will be something different but just make sure that you really mean what you say. There are things we can appreciate about everyone in our lifes.

For those of you who celebrate Halloween today would be a perfect day while you’re spending time with your friends and family to tell them something you appreciate about them. And don’t be scared to tell as many people as possible what you appreciate about them. It will probably make their day.

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow I’ll be posting a blog about how my dares went for myself and if I saw them make people smile. And also a chance for you all to comment and tell me how they went for you.

That’s it. See you tomorrow. Now go change the world.

Oh and one last thing. I appreciate you. Thanks for reading my blogs and encouraging me. 🙂

What this is all about.

Hey there! 🙂 Has anyone told you you’re special today and you are loved? Because you are. Also you have a beautiful smile! Did that make you feel good inside? This blog is all about encouraging people and helping them know their worth. I started this blog because I believe there is a God above who loves us all and he made us and we are priceless. We are beautiful, good enough, cared for and loved beyond imagination. I want to remind people of that. I want to make the world a better place one person at a time. One smile at a time. And now we get to the real reason why I made this blog. I want you to help make this world a better place to.

Every Monday I post a dare. Now I know what your thinking. “How could a dare help make the world a better place? Why would jumping of a building help anything?” No that’s not the kind of dare I’m talking about. Every Monday I’ll post a dare something similar to this: “I dare you to tell someone you are thankful for them today.”. I will also do the dare myself and the first Tuesday of every month I’ll write a blog saying how it went and if I saw I made peoples day better.

And that’s it! I’d love if you’d join me in trying to help make people’s day better and showing God’s love. Have a beautiful day because you’re a beautiful person!
