Dare 16: Forgive

Hey forgiven sons and daughters of the one true King!

This week’s dare is simply to stop judging that person for what they did a year ago or even a month ago. We all have those people in our life’s that we judged but we never really even took the time to get to know. I know I’ve done that. I know how it feels to be the one it’s being done to also. It hurts. Just giving someone another chance could be the kindest thing you could do for that person. It’s a shame we are so quick to form options about others before we even get to know them. Aren’t you thankful God never did that? I sure am.

Now go change the world, my friends! ๐Ÿ™‚

Dare 15: Good job

Good day beautiful humans,

Today’s dare is to tell someone they are doing a good job at something. We all need to hear some encouragement when it comes to things we are doing. If we have a new job it always feels good when the boss says we are doing well. If we join a sports team it always helps us when we get some encouragement from our coach. So tell someone in your life today that they are doing a great job and to keep going. As always make sure you really mean it because telling someone that they are doing good when they aren’t won’t help you or the other person in the long run.

One more thing that I wanted to remind you. It’s great to encourage and get encouragement but that’s not where our worth comes from. We need to get our encouragement and worth in God alone. The rest is just a bonus.
See you next Monday. Now go change the world.

Dare 14: It starts with you

Hey sons and daughters of the King!

Before I tell you today’s dare I want to tell you a couple of things first. God has been showing me lately so many things. One of those things is that we can’t best help and take care of someone else unless we are taking care of ourselves too. If we aren’t feeding ourselves how can we feed someone else? If we aren’t growing closer to God how can we help someone else grow closer to God? If we haven’t been through hard things how can we help someone else through the fire? How can we tell someone to find their worth in Christ if we can’t seem to do that ourselves? Words are cheap. The way we live our life speaks so much louder than our words. If I hear someone say my life will be better if I spend more time praying but the person who told me that never prayers how can I believe them? Be the change you want to see in the world. Be a light. Be the one who follows God when no one else is. And that my friends is todays dare. Now go change the world!

Dare 13: Love

Happy Valentine’s day, lovelys!!

This week’s dare is short and simple. Just love people today. I don’t care how or what you do just make people in your life feel loved. You don’t have to be in a relationship to love either. If you don’t have someone in that way yet don’t spend today feeling sad. Go out and love your family, friends, everyone! Just love people ๐Ÿ™‚

Love you all! Have a great week!

Dare 12: Appreciate family

Hey difference makers!

This week’s dare is to give someone in your family a hug and tell them you love them. Family is such a precious gift and shouldn’t be taken for granted. Make sure they know you appreciate that God gave you a parent, sibling, cousin, ete… like them. And then afterwards how about we give God a thank you prayer for the person who we hugged.

Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to go give my amazing mom a hug. ๐Ÿ™‚ Go change the world!

Dare 11: If you can

Hey my lovely friends! ๐Ÿ™‚

This week’s dare isn’t for everyone because I know not everyone has the means to be able to do this and that’s okay. This is for those who can and feel lead to by God.

The dare is use money to buy someone a gift or take them out to eat. You could get your friend that thing they’ve been wanting or take your mom for a daughter/son and mother date. I’m sure it would make their day! But as I said before I totally get if you can’t do this right now. That’s okay there a pently of other ways to show someone you care.

That’s it for this week. Now go change the world!

Dare 10: Check it out

Hey friends!

You know your friends blog they keep posting for everyone to check out on twitter? Remember your friend who just started a YouTube channel? You have been meaning to check them out but just haven’t got around to it yet. Well this week’s dare is to go and check them out! When people feel like you are interested in something they are doing that makes them feel like they actually matter and can do something good. So go and don’t just watch/read also comment on something you enjoyed about it. If you really, really like it maybe even share it with others.

Thanks for being awesome, friends! Have an amazing, God blessed week!

Dare 9: Smiles

Hey encouragers!

This week’s dare is to smile at people in the hopes they will smile too. I love smiling at people and often do it without even thinking about it. You can smile at people in the grocery store, at the person you walk by on your way, the shy girl at your church, anyone and everyone you come in contact with. You’d could be surprised how much it could mean to them. When strangers smile at me it makes me unexplainably happy. Of course not every person you smile at is gonna appreciate it or smile back but it’s always worth a try. If nothing else it’ll help you be in a more happy and positive mood because it’s been proven smiling makes you happier.

Have a great day everyone and show your beautiful God given smile to the world!

Dare 8. Pray for People

Hi Sunshine!

Ready for today’s dare? It’s not a normal one that you can see. (Right away anyways). This weeks dare is pray for people. Really pray for them. I truly believe prayer is one of the most powerful tools we have to help people. Pray for your family, your friends, people that drive past you to work, the girl who sits in front of you at church. Pray for the cashier at the grocery store. A great habit to start is just praying whenever something or someone comes to mind. Sometimes when I’m on a long trip I pray for the people in the cars we pass on the highway. Although I’ve never met them I know God loves them and cares deeply about them and their life’s.

I’ll be praying for all you readers too. I love y’all and appreciate that you guys care enough about people to do these dares. Have a great week!

Dare 7. Thoughtful letters

Hey lovely friends!!

So if you didn’t know I took a month break from this blog for the holidays but I’m back now and ready to keep encouraging people and to encourage people to encourage! I dearly hope you all had a blessed holiday season and spent time remembering the reason Christmas exists.

My dare for us this week is to show someone you are thinking of them and care about them and their life. Write someone a hand written letter or send them an email. Ask them what’s going on with them and let them know you care about them. Tell them about your life too. Make them feel included and a part of your life even if this friend lives 1000 miles away. Or you could write a family member you haven’t seen since you were a kid. I bet that would make their day.

That’s all for this week! See you next Monday and don’t forget you are so deeply and fully loved!!
