“God is like a puppy.”

I do most of my deepest thinking while going for my daily evening walk. Tonight a thought seemed to come to my head out of no where. That thought was, “God is like a puppy.” Your thought after reading that may be like the thoughts I had after I heard that in my brain. But then I realized it was true.

Think of a puppy or a dog in general. They have been called mans best friend long back into history and are loyal to death. They love with a love that is unconditional and even when you react with hate they still love you and give their love fully. Some even take their anger out on their dogs even though they are not responsible.

Starting to understand? God is a lot like a puppy. He loves us no matter what. The greatest unconditional love. Even when we blame him for or problems and are mad at him he doesn’t leave us. He wants us. He is loyal to his word. He won’t leave us or forsake us. He is mans best friend and he will never stop loving and caring for us. Take comfort in that my friends.

Head over to howkindofyou.com and send a link or email to a friend and they can use it to get a free bar right to their mailbox. What’s even better? You can ask for more free bars to send to more friends! As they say the more the merrier.

Have fun and keep changing the world friends!

Oh and it’s coming up a year anniversary of starting my blog and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s ever read a blog or done a dare. You are all beautiful people and don’t you forget it! Thanks for being you!

Dare 21: Do something 100% for the other person.

Hey beauties,

Your mom loves that corny old movie, your brother likes that annoying video game or your sister always wants to watch a dumb little kid show. They ask you to join them and you say something like “Ew no thanks that’s for weirdos” and walk away. That’s your go to reaction. But think about how you feel when other people do that to you. It feels so great when someone wants to spend time doing something with you just because they know you enjoy it even if they don’t. That’s so sweet and really makes someone’s day. So this weeks dare is… you guessed it! Do something someone in your life loves with them even if you don’t delight in it yourself. I’ve found just seeing someone enjoy themselves is just as if not more enjoyable than doing what I wanted to do. 🙂

Have a wonderful week and fall friends! Leave me a comment and let me know how you’re doing and what things your thankful for in this season. And then go change the world! 😉

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
1 John 4:4‭-‬6

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Verses to encourage you today

These are some of my favorite verses and I hope that they encourage you today and help you see your great worth in Jesus. We serve an incredible God who loves us deeply! Have a wonderful week, friends and be sure to change the world this week. 🙂 Remember even the small things can make a huge difference!

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Godʼs special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
1 Peter 2:9

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
1 Peter 1:18

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.
James 5:13‭-‬14

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
James 1:2‭-‬6

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord , whose confidence is in him.

But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
2 Chronicles 15:7

David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished.
1 Chronicles 28:20

In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

James 1:12

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:1‭-‬3‭, ‬5‭-‬7

We have incredible worth #9 We are chosen

Hey beautiful hearts,

I don’t know what’s cooler than God actually choosing us. We didn’t do anything to deserve it and we didn’t even chose him first. But he gladly chose each and every one of us. We are so worth it in his eyes and so loved. Maybe you aren’t the first choice to a lot of people but you are to God. And that means so much more. You’re so incredible, loved, adored, wanted and chosen and you always will be.

“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.”
– Ephesians 1:4‭-‬6

I love you all. Have a great rest of your day, friends!

Dare 20: Encourage someone in what they are talented in.

Hey everyone!!

The title pretty much says it all. Have you seen someone who’s really good at something? Encourage them in it and tell them you believe in them. Often the things we are best at are the talents God gave us to use in life. If someone’s good at painting, encourage them in their work. Whatever talents you see around you, compliment and encourage. It could make a big difference in someone’s life. And remember always this verse. 🙂

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,” – Colossians 3:23

Have a wonderful week! Now go change the world!

We have great worth #8. We don’t go un-noticed

Good day friends!

God see’s your good works, he see’s how you havehelp others. He see’s when you feel all alone. He see’s when your hurting and he see’s when you’re so proud of yourself for accomplishing something. You will never go unnoticed. You’ll never be alone. What you do matters. You’re loved and adored by the king of all and don’t you ever forget it or feel like your life doesn’t matter. It matters more than you’ll ever know. You matter more than you’ll ever know.

“Because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.” Eph 6:8

Have a wonderful rest of you day!

Dare 19: Put someone above yourself.

Hello lovelys!

This week I’d like to encourge you take a step back and let someone else take your place. Next time you are in the line at the grocery store ask the person behind you if they’d like to go ahead. Let the person at the resturant order first. Sure it’s simple but it could actually really make someones day or perhaps they were in a hurry even and you helped them get somewhere on time. Nothing you do out of love for another is ever too small. Don’t ever forget that. You can and do make a difference in this world.

Have a wonderful weekend! Now go change the world!

We have great worth #7: God hears us

Hello beloved son’s and daughters,

God loves us so much. He’s not up in Heaven just ignoring us down here. He’s with us where ever we go and wants to be in communion with us always if we’ll let him. When we speak to him, he hears. We can be sure of that and have the comfort of knowing whatever we tell him (and what we don’t) he hears and cares. He wants to talk with you. He loves when you tell him about your day and talk to him just like a friend. He’s there to listen, to give you peace and help. Even when you can’t feel him I promise you he’s there. He loves you so much that he desires a best friend relationship with you. You’ll never go unheard when you’re talking to him. I just want to encourge you all that you’re never alone and you always have someone to talk to and give you peace. You’re so loved and cared about and don’t you ever forget that.

” This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” – 1 John 5:14-15

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:7

Stay encourged my friends.
